In a constant desire to explore beyond plotters and their limits, the Biomes series expands with this risograph print. Most of the code structure from Biomes is kept, but the landscape elements have been reinterpreted with primary shapes and animals have been redrawn.
Creating a risograph print, famous for their very unique texture, also means to play with color overlays and color gradients. Risographs are different to common digital printers: they don’t use a combination of cyan, yellow, magenta and black inks in order to create a wide range of printable colors. These machines are closer to copy machines, in the sense that they are designed to offer mass production of color prints in a very cost-efficient manner. They can only manage one or two specific inks at a time, and a specific file for each color must be prepared in shades of grey.
Limited series of 55 prints. Printed at Quintal Atelier in Paris.

Posters are signed and numbered by hand at the front. The risograph process is never perfect and some minor offset between the different color layers may be present. All posters have been quality checked. You may ask a photo of the poster prior to the order. Avoid direct sunlight.
